Day of Ceremony:
Meet up at Ceremony location with The Kambo Practitioner.

Pre-Ceremony:
The Kambo practitioner will provide a comprehensive briefing on the entire process, outlining what you can anticipate. They'll also prepare the altar and assemble all necessary tools and items for the ceremony.

Ceremony:
-
Engage in a discussion with the client regarding their intentions for healing and spiritual growth.
-
Proceed with all other steps of the ceremony, including any rituals or practices traditionally associated with Kambo ceremonies.
-
Administer the medicine to the client in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Kambo is applied through small points on the skin, strategically chosen to access the lymphatic system. This method ensures the medicine's effective absorption and distribution throughout the body.
This is the only safe way to administer Kambo
The points for administering Kambo are traditionally created by making small, superficial circular burns on the first layer of the skin using a small piece of Jungle Vine called 'Tashimi'. This Indigenous method ensures a precise and controlled application of the medicine in accordance with traditional practices.

Once the superficial circular burns are made, the skin's surface is carefully peeled back to reveal the epidermis, enabling the direct application of Kambo.

The client spits into a small bowl, and their saliva or energy is then blended with the dried medicine on the Kambo stick.

The mixture is scraped and blended until it reaches a paste-like consistency similar to wasabi.

The paste is divided into several "dots," which are then applied to the open points on the client's skin.

Once applied to the skin, the medicine is swiftly absorbed by the body through the lymphatic system, circulating into the bloodstream within seconds.

Upon administration of the medicine, the client may experience sensations such as:
-
A warming sensation throughout the body, particularly noticeable in the face and chest area, leading to flushing.
-
Accelerated heart rate.
-
Initial increase in blood pressure followed by a subsequent decrease, typically within less than 5 minutes.
-
Potential for nausea and purging.
To support the purging process, clients are advised to drink 2 liters of water prior to the ceremony.
From a physical perspective, purging involves the literal cleansing of toxins from the body.
From a metaphysical or energetic standpoint, purging facilitates the release of negative energies, trapped emotions, and traumas from the spiritual body, consequently impacting the physical body as well.

During the ceremony, the practitioner will facilitate the ceremony to make the intense experience safe for the client.
The practitioner is also CPR Certified as an extra safety measure.

Shamanic Ancestral Tobacco called ‘Mapacho’ is also used during the ceremony to protect the client’s energy as well as facilitate any purging that may be needed during the Kambo ceremony. The smell does not linger like traditional tobacco since it is a different type of Tobacco being used.

Once the medicine has been administered, the process typically lasts around 20 minutes.
However, the entire pre-ceremony and ceremony may take 2-3 hours to complete.
